I’ve made a habit of switching blogging platforms about once a year since 2012. From WordPress, I moved to Svbtle. Then I ditched Svbtle for the exciting newcomer, Ghost. Eventually I found myself drawn back to the familiarity of WordPress.
I toyed with Tumblr, studied SiteLeaf, considered Kirby. If someone’s built a blogging platform, I’ve either tried it, used it, researched it, or checked it out on Product Hunt.

Kindle Oasis Announced

The biggest hurdle to understanding the Kindle is trying to compare it to a tablet. Amazon’s latest flagship retails for $400 with the cover included (that’s in Canadian pesos—it’s $289 for you American folks), and many will rightly comment that for that money you can buy an iPad.

Photo Essay: Acros Underwater
I took delivery of my Fujifilm X-Pro 2 this week—actually mine this time, not a pre-production model like the one I had for my review earlier in the year.
Along with the camera itself, I also picked up the XF 14mm ƒ/2.8 lens, and the legendary 35mm ƒ/1.4. Having shot with the newer 35mm ƒ/2 for my review of the X-Pro 2, I’m stepping back in time a bit by opting for the older lens, but I had to find out what all the hype is about.
